Carnival customs, Corfu
The traditional announcer in the morning, with trumpets and drummers, walks through the streets of the city to announce the arrival of Sior Karnavalos. The great procession, with chariots, philharmonic and masked companions, is headed to the Lower Square for the established feast.
On the last Sunday of the Carnival, Sierra Carnival's parade, after passing Sarroko, G. Theotoki street, Karde Lakoues, will end in Kato Square where its burning will take place.
